Utah Summer 2011

Almost 4 weeks in UT and we kept pretty busy!
1 night camping at Little Mill Campground in American Fork canyon (Spot 17 was awsome! right my the river without any other sites by it.)
2 times to Lagoon
1 date with Just me and John Hiking Mt Timpanogas caves
5 days in Jackson, WY and Yellowstone
everyday joined at the hip with cousins!

The whole gang at the stink pots (sulfer springs at Yellowstone)

Dad lugged Sophia (32 lbs dead weight) up the mountain (about 1.5 miles vertical switchbacks) after she pooped her pants and refused to go up on her own- That's love.

Boat tour of the Grand Tetons. Apparently you can spend a week here learning to hike glacers and then spend the next week hiking it. That's another vacation, without Sophia.

Learning the ways of the locals in Jackson Hole.

Looking smart hiking Mt Timpanogas.

Sophia yelled "This is Fun!!!" all the way down.

One night camping was enough for most of us, but well worth it.

  1. Seriously a 4 week vacation is heaven in itself! Glad you were able to get some alone time to hike Timp. That is a good hike sans kids. We make our kids do it and are so happy to get to the top so we don't have to listen the whining anymore. LOL.
